We have a task. And that responsibility is that we won’t allow deceits to thrive. We must lower the antenna of falsehood.
On the front page of Saturday Vanguard of November 17, 2018, perhaps their second edition, a story with the Caption “UZODINMA’S TRIUMPHANT ENTRY INTO IMO” was published. Beside the caption, was the picture of a crowd said to have come to receive Chief Hope Uzodinma on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, when he came back to Owerri.
The full story could also be seen on page 38 of the same edition with the same photograph and written by Chief Uzodinma’s media aide, Mbadiwe Emelumba.
And we make hay to say that, the photograph is fake, fraudulent and deceitful. This picture has become a tool for deceit on the side of some of these men.
On Friday, October 19, 2018, the day the governorship Candidate of APGA, Chief Ifeanyi Araraume returned to Owerri, his media team also used the same photograph to equally deceive the public.
On that October 19, 2018, one of the media assistants of Chief Araraume posted the same photograph on variousWhatsApp & other social media platforms with this phone number: +2348161673180.
The truth is that Chief Uzodinma does not have support to win the governorship election in Imo. Hence, this deceit. Uche Nwosu’s return was shown live on the major televisions in the Country and if Uzodinma could have such crowd, he would have also opted for live coverage.
Where would Chief Uzodinma get the support to win governorship election in Imo with his kind of person. From Orlu zone or Owerri Zone or Okigwe Zone?
Again, almost everybody in the crowd has long Cap. The event that had the crowd must have taken place in the North looking at what they have on their heads.
For deceiving the public, Mbadiwe Emelumba should make open apology because Imo people are not known for things like that. These are people who want to govern Imo. I had earlier said that Imo people will miss Rochas Okorocha. Time will tell.
