Spanish giants, Real Madrid, have approached Champions League finalist, Liverpool, for their talismanic winger, Mohamed Salah, a report says.
The club have also expressed their desire to sign another Premier League superstar, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
According to ESPN, the Egyptian has not left the sight of Bernabeu hierarchy, again following his milestone this season in the Premier League.
Salah won the golden boot on 22 goals in a three-way tie with teammate, Sadio Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
He was also crucial to his side’s impressive run to another Champions League final, where Liverpool will take on Tottenham Hotspur.
The report quoted the Daily Mail as saying Real manager, Zinedine Zidane, sees Salah as the perfect player to partner with Hazard and Karim Benzema in what would be an impressive attacking trio.
The report added that rejected winger, Gareth Bales looks to be completely frozen out of the squad, and possibly heading out of Madrid this summer, along with a number of other high-profile names.
The Daily Mail says, “Zidane believes Salah’s pace and movement would inject some real dynamism into his side …”
But added that Liverpool manager, Jurgen Kloop, and the club will resist any move for the player, noting that they would be unwillingly to let go their star man, regardless of how much the European Champions would persuade them to sell.
